Boys Lacrosse

RHAM Youth Lacrosse boys program is dedicated to providing boys ages 6-14 the opportunity to experience one of the fastest growing youth sports in the US. We serve residents of Hebron, Andover, Marlborough and residents of neighboring towns who do not have a USA Lacrosse recognized program.

Our program welcomes players of any skill or experience levels, with a mission to grow the great game of Lacrosse.

Ages

The boys program is separated into four separate age groupings:

  • Lightning 1st & 2nd
  • Bantam 3rd & 4th
  • Juniors 5th & 6th
  • Seniors 7th & 8th

Programs available to players will be based on their birthday and USA Lacrosse's age brackets.

When

Spring is the primary season for Lacrosse.

Indoor pre-season starts in March. Outdoor practices begins once the town opens the fields for the season, Typically early to mid April.

We do work with other programs to offer clinics throughout the year.

Where

RHAM Youth Lacrosse practice fields are located at Burnt Hill Park and Hebron Elementry School

Game fields are located at Burnt Hill Park in Hebron.


Practices

Practices times and locations are dependent on the teams.

Little Laxers - 1X week

Lightning, Bantam, Juniors, Seniors 2X week

Practice schedules will be made by the Head Coach and available to teams by April 1st.

Games

Teams will play 1-2 games a week. Games are over the course of the season and will usually fall on the weekends or during a teams scheduled practice time.

Uniforms

Team uniforms are included in your registration. You will choose uniform sizes during the registration process.


Extra Costs

  • USA Lacrosse Membership separate from club registration and is required for ALL players participate in RHAM Youth Lacrosse and CVYL sanctioned events.
  • The Club does not supply player equipment. (See Required Equipment)

What equipment will my child need?

Kindergarten: Girls & Boys

Your child will need the following:

-Boys or Girls Lacrosse Stick -If your child needs to borrow a lacrosse stick, some will be available. Sticks just need to be returned at the end of each practice.

-Cleats

Boys: 1st-8th Grade

Your child will need the following:

-Boys Lacrosse Stick

-Lacrosse Helmet

-Shoulder Pads

-Arm Pads

-Lacrosse Gloves

-Compression shorts (protective cup)

-Mouth Guard

-Cleats


SPRING 2025

Boys Programs are offered based on grade as follows Lighting Grades 1-2, Bantams Grade 3-4, Juniors Grade 5-6, Seniors Grade 7-8 At the

Junior and Senior Grade programs teams will be grouped based on skills and abilities. At the Lightning and Bantam level teams are divided equally based on numbers and with the goal of balancing the two teams equally.

As always Learn to Play is offered at all levels to help a new player transition into the the sport of lacrosse from another sport, or to tryout the sport while playing another sport.
